Astronomers from the European Southern Observatory have found the clos­est black hole to Earth. (And no, it’s not the soul of your ex.)

It’s in there somewhere.

It’s about 1,000 light years away, and — if you hap­pen to be south of the equa­tor, you can see it with the naked eye. Well, you can see the oth­er stars in its sys­tem. The black hole is, you know, black.
