2 Kings 2:23-24:

23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. “Go on up, you baldhead!” they said. “Go on up, you baldhead!” 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Also included: “No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the Lord.” (Deuteronomy 23)

  1. Leland says:

    Good lord!

  2. Joules says:

So, sadly, I have heard someone preach about those verses. Hmm, says something about pastor D.

  3. gnomic says:

Wow. That’s one way to get out of going to church!

  4. shake says:

While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “Your sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brother’s home. Suddenly, a powerful wind [sent by God] swept in from the desert and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” (Job 1:18-19 NLT)

god kills innocent kids to test JOB… god is evil

  5. Dlm4Christ says:

Shake, I would like to clarify something on your comment. You forgot that Satan requested to be allowed to tempt and test Job. God told him he could but could not take Job’s life. Killing the children was something Satan himself did. Also, God did not create the world as we see it today. He created a perfect world with no death. Because of Adam and Eve’s sin in the garden, sin entered the world and has been passed on to all people. We are born in sin and are sinful unless we believe on Jesus and obey ALL of the Bible.
