The Smart cars have their niche in tiny villages and communities in Europe where parking is tight, you can park straight in to the curb and not stick out. That’s kinda cool.
But their performance stinks, and their mileage isn’t that much better than many other vehicles substantially larger (which is still a small car…).

you knew it had to happen sooner or later. we make crap cars. for that alone we deserve it.
aside from that our gummit makes up reasons to go to war, they strip us of more and more of our rights each day (and we lie down for it, convinced that we’re safer for it). we generally make the world not like us.
it’s not just a p.r. problem. maybe our next president/administration will have some more sense.
